5 Easy Ways to Use Caravel Gourmet's 5 Pepper Sea Salt in Vegetarian Recipes

Use this salt and pepper blend to enhance any meal!

Sauteed 5 Pepper Peas.   With either fresh or frozen peas, add to a pan with a pat of butter and saute on low for a few minutes, until the peas are a bright green color and tender to the touch.   Add a bit more butter, and a bit of garlic. Don’t add Caravel Gourmet's   5 Pepper Sea Salt until you’re ready to serve - this will dehydrate the peas, especially if they’re frozen.

Sauteed 5 Pepper Mushrooms.   Grab your favorite mushrooms, and (if they’re not already small), slice them up and saute them up in olive oil.   When they start to become soft, sprinkle with Caravel Gourmet’s 5 Pepper Sea Salt, and continue to saute until they have roughly halved in size.

Roasted 5 Pepper Cauliflower.

The great thing about cauliflower is that it absorbs so much of the flavors you give it, and this salt is no exception.   After cutting the cauliflower into ½”-thick pieces, toss them gently in olive oil, sprinkle both sides of each piece with Caravel Gourmet's   5 Pepper Sea Salt, and bake them at 375F for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once.

5 Pepper Roasted Potatoes.   After you’ve cut your potatoes into 1” cubes, toss them in oil and sprinkle with Caravel Gourmet’s 5 Pepper Sea Salt before roasting them at 350F for 45 minutes.

Baked 5 Pepper Kale Chips.   One of many options we have for seasoning kale chips, Caravel Gourmet’s 5 Pepper Sea Salt makes kale chips that zing with 5 Pepper y flavor.   Prep the kale as you normally would, toss with olive and the sea salt, and bake at 350F until the edges are brown.

Use this salt and pepper blend to enhance any meal!

A quick pinch on everything from steaks to seafood, on salads and vegetables and potatoes, or on a fried egg will do wonders for your meal.
