5 Easy Ways to Use Caravel Gourmet's Cyprus Citrus Flake Sea Salt in Vegan Recipes

Oven Roasted Cyprus Citrus Flake Sweet Potatoes.   The sweetness of the potatoes and the savory flavor of Caravel Gourmet's   Cyprus Citrus Flake Sea Salt are a perfect match.   Chop the sweet potatoes into 1” chunks and toss with olive oil.   Lay in a shallow roasting pan and bake at 425F for 35 minutes or until crispy, turning once.   Sprinkle with Caravel Gourmet's Cyprus Citrus Flake Sea Salt and serve.
Pan-Roasted Cyprus Citrus Flake Butternut Squash.   As beautiful as they are delicious, summer or winter squash can be prepared this way.   Chop the squash into 1” cubes, and toss with 2 tbsp. olive oil and 2 tsp. Caravel Gourmet's   Cyprus Citrus Flake Sea Salt.   Roast in a 400F oven until the squash is lightly brown and soft, about 30 minutes.  

Crispy Cyprus Citrus Flake Cinnamon Carrots.   When roasting carrots in your oven, blend a teaspoon of Caravel Gourmet's   Cyprus Citrus Flake Sea Salt  with a teaspoon of cinnamon and toss to coat the carrots before roasting them in the oven for 40 minutes at 450F.   

Asparagus with Cyprus Citrus Flake & Olive Oil.   Prep the asparagus by trimming off the thick ends and rinsing in cold water.   In an iron skillet (or the heaviest one you have with a lid), heat the oil till it starts to thin, then add the asparagus, and shake the pan to coat it in the oil.   Cover the pan and cook on medium for 3 minutes, checking to make sure it’s not burning. Uncover and cook a few more minutes until the asparagus is bright green, then add Caravel Gourmet's   Cyprus Citrus Flake Sea Salt to taste.  
Cucumber Cyprus Citrus Flake Salad.   Give this one a bit of time and it will reward you.   Chill your cucumbers first, then skin them and slice them into ⅛” discs.   Lightly salt them with Caravel Gourmet's   Cyprus Citrus Flake Sea Salt, and toss.   Let them sit covered in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then drain and toss with rice or white vinegar for a tasty, refreshing treat!
