5 Easy Ways to Use Caravel Gourmet's Jalapeno Sea Salt in Vegetarian Recipes

A delicious blend of jalapeno and sea salt that is not too spicy!

Jalapeno Hummus.   When making hummus from scratch, use Caravel Gourmet's   Jalapeno Sea Salt for the salt normally used to season the hummus.   The result is a savory treat with a slight, brief kick of Jalapeno.

Roasted Jalapeno Cauliflower.   The great thing about cauliflower is that it absorbs so much of the flavors you give it, and this salt is no exception.   After cutting the cauliflower into ½”-thick pieces, toss them gently in olive oil, sprinkle both sides of each piece with Caravel Gourmet's Jalapeno Sea Salt, and bake them at 375F for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once.

Grilled Jalapeno Onions.   Breaking out the grill? Make this easy side dish - grab a few large onions, slice them into 1” discs, brush on some olive oil and sprinkle them with Caravel Gourmet's Jalapeno Sea Salt before letting them slow cook on a cooler part of the grill until they’ve caramelized.   Be sure to turn them at least once.

Jalapeno Fried Egg.   This is super-easy and so delicious.   When your egg is almost ready to come out of the pan, just sprinkle it with Caravel Gourmet's Jalapeno Sea Salt - it’s an easy way to give your eggs instant flavor.

Oven Roasted Jalapeno Broccoli.   Delicious when it’s roasted, broccoli is very easy to crisp up in your oven.   Just cut into florets, toss with olive oil and Caravel Gourmet's Jalapeno Sea Salt, and lay evenly onto a baking sheet.   Roast at 450F for 20 minutes, or until the edges are crispy.
